Huiyin Xue

I am a postdoc at UKP@MBZUAI. I completed PhD in the NLP Group, University of Sheffield, under the supervision of Prof. Nikolaos Aletras and Dr. Nafise Sadat Moosavi working on exploring efficient methods for Transformer-based foundation language models. Before that, I obtained an MSc. in Data Analytics with distinction from University of Sheffield and B.E. in Economic Statistics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China. Moving beyond my earlier sole research interest, I am currently trying to prove the necessity of my (an instantiation of human) existence in AI era. I am looking forward to communicating with researchers interested in efficient language models and human simulation.
